As a Force.com Appexchange Partner, you are entitled to 3 editions to help you achieve success building, testing and growing your AppExchange app and business. Our goal is to provide AppExchange partners with the tools for success. With ISV and Test Edition, AppExchange Partners can now:
- Build an Application in their DE org
- Perform Robust Testing and Demo their app in Test Edition
- Track AppExchange Opt-In Web Leads and Customer Installs (via LMA) with ISV Edition

Sign-up is a snap! To submit your request, please visit AppExchange Support at http://www.appexchange.com/support
Sign-up is a 3-Step Process:
- Enter your contact details and select ISV Edition Request and/or Test Edition Request
- AppExchange Operations will contact you and send you the AppExchange Master Agreement (AMA)
- Review and send back signed AMA
- AppExchange Operations will provision ISV and/or Test Edition and contact you. (Typically done 48 hours from receiving signed agreement)
FAQ
How long will these orgs last?
Developer Edition last forever. ISV and Test Edition will last one year from signing the AppExchange Master Partner Agreement. However, ISV and Test Edition can be renewed during your annual certification review.
What if I am already a EE customer?
If you already are a Salesforce.com customer on EE, when you sign up for ISV Edition, we provide 2 more EE seats for free. These seats will renew during annual certification.
What if I am a PE customer, can I upgrade to ISV for Free?
No, ISV Edition can only be added on top of EE orgs. If you are a PE customer, you would have to upgrade to EE. You do have the option of request ISV Edition as a separate org, but you will then have to manage two Salesforce orgs.
How can I migrate my PE org to ISV Edition?
You can package your customization in your PE org into an unmanaged package. You can then install this package into ISV Edition and use Data Loader or Excel Connector to migrate the data.
How do I add more licenses to my ISV Edition
You will need to contact your Salesforce.com Sales Rep or Account Executive. If you do not know who that is, please contact 1-800-NO-SOFTWARE (1-800-667-6389) and ask a Sales Rep to add more seats. Additional seats will cost full Enterprise Edition price.
How do I setup my Opt-In Web Leads to filter into my ISV Edition org?

Can I upgrade my existing DE org to Test Edition?
No, Test Edition is a brand new 20-user DE org. If you want to migrate your work from DE to Test Edition, you will need to package your customization and manually install it into your Test Edition. But remember, Test Edition is primarily for testing and demonstrations.
I have created a Managed Package and I want to test my Beta release, but I don't have sandbox, where can I test this?
Test Edition! This is a perfect example to use Test Edition because it's built on top of DE and Beta Managed Packages can be installed and tested in Sandbox and/or DE orgs (including Test Edition).
